Overview:

“Arsenal Tours” is affiliated with the “Arsenal Australia Supporters Club” and is run by one of the club’s members, Warren Rice.

Tour participants must be members of the Arsenal Australia Supporters Club and have a current Membership Card to go on the Tour. Membership is included in the Tour price, for current non-members wanting to participate.

If you’re an AASC Member or a diehard Gooner, this is the Supporter Tour not to be missed!! It is the ultimate Tour for any Arsenal Fan:

1. *There will be at least (1) Tour a season. This depends on the structure of the Fixtures List
   

2. *The Touring Party will be a minimum of five (5) persons and a maximum of eight (8) persons
   

3. *The Tour is a mixture of everything Arsenal, Football and London for thirteen (13) to fifteen (15) nights
   

4. *There is plenty of free time to explore London at your own pace
   

5. *Our accommodation is located in the heart of London’s entertainment district and on the Piccadilly Tube line, the same line as Arsenal

The Tour Organiser:

Warren Rice is the Secretary of the “Arsenal Australia Supporters Club” and has been an avid Gooner since 1971, since watching his first delayed telecast of an FA Cup Final and seeing his namesake playing Right Back in the 2-1 victory over Liverpool.

From that moment he was hooked. Since then he’s ridden all the highs and lows of supporting a football team from afar.

In the early 80’s he was lucky enough to visit Highbury twice, the first in March 1981, watching the Gunners defeat Liverpool 1-0 and the second in May 1984, seeing a young Gary Lineker playing for Leicester City and getting beaten 2-1. Two weeks later he went to Watford and saw us lose 2-1 in the last game of that season. In 1984 he was also lucky enough to see Arsenal play a Testimonial Game at The Valley against Charlton Athletic where George Best played the whole 90 minutes for Charlton as a guest player.

In late 2007 Warren decided that he’d like to organise and run Tours to Arsenal for AASC members, Tours that would give Australian Arsenal supporters a behind the scenes look at their favourite club.

24 years later, In April 2008, he visited Arsenal to organise the Club component of the Tour Package and while there watched Arsenal defeat Everton 1-0 in the last home game of the 2007-2008 Season.

He’s now taking groups of Australian Arsenal Supporters to “The Emirates” to cheer on the Gunners for themselves :-)
